Maria C. (Dutorio) Lucking

Maria C. Lucking, 97, of Bloomfield, New Jersey passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022.

Born September 28, 1924 in Newark, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Dominick and Julia (Petrecca) Dutorio and widow of Robert C. Lucking.

A retired teacher’s aide, she attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Nutley, New Jersey and enjoyed volunteering.  She especially liked Frank Sinatra and time spent with her family and friends.

Surviving are her children Jeffrey C. Lucking (Cathy) of The Villages, Florida, Steven E. Lucking (Peggy) of Hershey, Pennsylvania, and Bernadette M. Lucking of Lewes, Delaware; grandchildren Andrew (Emilie), Michael (Kelsey), Brian, Eric (Kendra), Ryan (Emily), Robert (Sara Marian), Steven (Abby), Megan Holler, and Elizabeth Holler; and nine great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:00 Noon Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 120 Prospect Street, Nutley preceded by a viewing from 11:00 AM.  Interment in Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
