Mae H. Kreider, 97, of Palmyra passed away peacefully Monday, October 6, 2025 in her home.
Born May 10, 1928 in Bethel, a daughter of the late Raymond and Mabel (Geib) Haak, she was the last of her immediate family. Mae was the widow of Lloyd A. Kreider since May 2001 whom she celebrated 53 years of marriage. She was preceded in death by a grandson Michol Caezar Alvarez Pelotenia.
After working several years at the original Hershey Chocolate Factory, she became a stay-at-home mother and helped her husband on the farm. Mae was a loyal member of Spring Creek Church of the Brethren, Hershey.
Surviving are her son Ken L. Kreider (Miriam A.) with whom she lived; grandchildren Kelly M. Kreider, Myck Nichol Pelotenia (Kaylin) and Kyla B. Alvarez (fiancé Cody J. Eisenhour);
great grandchildren Aaron John “AJ” Bryan and Catherine Ela Pelotenia and many nephews, nieces, and extended family.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, October 10, 2025 at her church, Spring Creek Church of the Brethren located at 335 East Areba Avenue, Hershey preceded by a viewing beginning at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be in the adjoining Spring Creek Cemetery.
