M. Lester Stuckey, 78, of Cornwall passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.
Born October 26, 1944 in Mechanicsburg, he was the son of the late Merle and Dorothy (Zimmerman) Stuckey.
Surviving are his wife of almost 59 years Jeannie C. (Albert) Stuckey; daughter Heather Stuckey-Peyrot (widow of Mark Peyrot) of Harrisburg; grandson Landon Stuckey of Harrisburg; brother Raymond Stuckey (Elaine Foreman Stuckey) of Virginia; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved cat Charlie.
Lester grew up in Hershey, was a 1962 graduate of Hershey High School and taught graphic arts at Lebanon Vo-Tech for 30 years. A percussionist with Hershey and Harrisburg Symphonies, he taught drums at Hershey and Palmyra High Schools. He enjoyed golf, puzzles, Sudoku and traveling to Disney World.
