M. Jean Zechman Obituary

M. Jean Zechman, 97, of Londonderry Village, Palmyra passed away Friday, April 12, 2024.

Born in Mifflinburg, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mildred (Boob) Bowersox. The widow of Edward H. Zechman since August 2008, she was also preceded in death by a son Doyle R. Zechman September 2019.

Retired from the Hershey Medical Center, Jean was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Palmyra, Palmyra Women’s Club and a volunteer at the former Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.

Surviving are her daughter Melissa M. Faber (Gerald); son Stacey E. Zechman; brother Donald Bowersox; grandchildren Ian Zechman (Julie) and Hannah Faber.

Private burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
