Luke Michael Batz

Luke Michael Batz passed away on July 24, 2026, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Born on June 18, 1983, in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, to the late Michael Batz and the late Brenda Flowers Batz. 

Luke graduated from Milton Hershey School and went on to further his education at Arizona State University. He was a passionate, friendly, and adventurous man whose presence could brighten any room. Those who knew him will remember his easy smile, his outgoing nature, and the way he made others feel welcome.

Luke had many interests that reflected his vibrant spirit. He was an avid sports fan who especially loved golf and ice hockey. He enjoyed music and appreciated the way it could bring people together. He also loved to travel and embraced the opportunity to see new places and experience new things. A very social person, Luke valued friendship and connection, and he built lasting relationships wherever he went

He is survived by his wife, Lan Dinh, and his children, Jackson and Zoey Batz, who were the center of his world. He is also survived by his paternal aunts and uncles, Joan and Barry Tyburski, Patricia Batz, Joy and Tom Logan, and Dorothy Batz. He is further survived by his maternal grandmother, Judith Flowers, and his maternal aunts and uncles, Tracey and Bill Kulp, Angela and Darryl Schroat, and David and Mandy Flowers. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harold and Lillian Batz, and his maternal grandfather, John Flowers.

Luke will be remembered for the love he gave so freely, the friendships he formed so easily, and the adventurous spirit with which he lived his life. His family and friends will cherish the memories they shared with him and hold close the many ways he enriched their lives. Though his time here was far too short, the impact of his kindness, enthusiasm, and love will remain with all who knew him.

A Funeral Mass was conducted in Broomall on July 31, 2026 arranged by Logan Funeral Home, Broomall. 

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra under the direction of Buse Funeral Home, Palmyra.
