Louise Margaret Bocian, 90, formerly of Hershey passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026 at The Middletown Home.
Born February 23, 1935 in Hershey, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Olga (Kruger) Holz. After 69 years of marriage, she was the widow of Louis Bocian since July 2022 and also preceded in death by a daughter Debra A. Kerchner and sister Erika H. Groff.
A member and former pianist of Hanoverdale Church of the Brethren, she was an accomplished pianist who also sang and accompanied the Hershey Community Chorus and Voices of Hershey. She will be missed as the “Piano Lady” at Middletown Home, where she has serenaded fellow residents after dinner. An avid bicyclist, she daily rode around Hershey and was a great cook and baker, especially her hamburger gravy, pies, and cakes.
Surviving are her son John M. Bocian (Deborah) of Harrisburg; daughter Julie E. Stafford (Lloyd Collins) of Shippensburg; sister Rose M. Kessler of Elizabethtown; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
