Lloyd W. Bomgardner, Sr.

Lloyd Bomgardner, Sr., age 86, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by his loving wife Colleen and children.

Lloyd was a devoted husband, parent, grandparent, sibling, and friend.  Lloyd found joy in the simple blessings of life—sharing stories, serving on Bindnagle Church Counsel, tending the garden, and spending treasured time with family.  He loved farming, camping, and his country living and was the Jack of all Trades!

Surviving are his loving wife of almost 60 years, Colleen, and children Robert Bomgardner (Tabitha), Meredith Stoltz, JR Bomgardner (Shara), and Jenny Errichetti (Brad Kern).  Lloyd was a proud grandparent to Talysha, Darren, Frankie, McKenzie, Carly, Lane, and Kash.  He is also survived by his siblings Janice, Doris, Rita, and Bill and many nieces and nephews.

Lloyd was preceded in death by parents William and Stella Bomgardner and siblings Bernice, Anna, Alverta, Ruth, Ethel, Linda, Erma, Marion, Howard, and Russell, Sr.

Though his presence will be deeply missed, Lloyd’s legacy lives on through the stories shared, the family cherished, and the love given so freely.  Lloyd’s family finds comfort knowing he is at peace in the presence of the Lord.

A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Bindnagle Lutheran Church, 801 Gravel Hill Road, Palmyra with private interment.
