Linda W. (Walters) Mears

Linda W. Mears, 78, formerly of Lancaster passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Harmony of Hershey.

Born April 1, 1947 in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Ruby (Sanders) Walters and also preceded in death by her brothers Russell, John, James, and Fred Walters.

A retired English Teacher from Ephrata High School, Linda was a graduate of Lower Dauphin High School and loved helping others.  She furthered her education at H.A.C.C. and Millersville University before earning her Master’s degree from Temple University.  She suffered great pain for many years but she never gave up, and as a believer, Linda now enjoys a pain free body.

She is survived by her sister Rose E., wife of Richard Blessing of Hummelstown as well as three nieces, six nephews and their families.
