Linda Rae Johnson-Bex

Linda Johnson-Bex of Palmyra and formerly of Mechanicsburg passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025.

Born October 9, 1948 in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Helen (Shea) Johnson and the widow of John E. Bex since May 2004.

A 1966 graduate of State College Area High School, Linda was a talented pianist, great nurse and most importantly of all, a loving Mom.

Surviving are a daughter, Hope E. Johnson, of Palmyra, and a cousin, Eileen Hencher, of Pittsburgh.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family with interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Cerebral Palsy of Central PA, 55 Utley Drive, Camp Hill, PA 17011, an organization dear to Linda’s heart.
