Linda Lloyd Brandt

Linda Lloyd Brandt, 67, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, in the Hershey Medical Center, surrounded by family and friends.

Born June 2, 1951, in Darby, she was the daughter of the late George and Doreen (Powers) Lloyd.

Linda was a retired Clinical Nurse Manager for Women’s Health from the Hershey Medical Center, a 1969 graduate of Penncrest High School and a 1972 graduate of Bryn Mawr Hospital School of Nursing.  She was a devoted supervisor at work and a faithful member of the Institutional Review Board for Hershey Medical Center.  Linda enjoyed politics, history, crossword puzzles and was an avid cook and bird watcher.  She was proud that she could attract bluebirds to the feeders at her home.  Linda also loved watching her hometown teams including the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies and Sixers and was a NASCAR fan.

Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Jeffrey T. Brandt; sisters, Janet, wife of Raymond Murphy of Media and Joan Hughes of Douglasville; sisters-in-law, Jean, wife of Mark Stoner of Shillington, Carol, wife of Robert Lutz of Lebanon and Janice Morrissey of Manheim; aunt,Trudy Runyan of Ocala, Florida; nephews, William, husband of Ashley Murphy, Daniel Murphy, Jared Lutz, and Patrick Lutz; niece, Faith Marie Hughes; and her loving, faithful canine companion, Kelly.

A memorial service will be planned in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to support cancer research at the Penn State Cancer Institute. Please make checks payable to Penn State University.
