Laurette M. (Levesque) Connelly

Laurette M. Connelly, 92, of Londonderry Village, Palmyra passed away Friday, April 9, 2021.

Born November 27, 1928 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, she was a daughter of the late Lectance and Albina (Champoux) Levesque and the widow of John J. Connelly.

Laurette’s life was in service to God as she was a Christian speaker and author of four Christian books.  She taught Bible studies and volunteered at Londonderry Village and served in the Marine Corps Reserves.  Laurette dedicated her life to the Lord, Jesus Christ, and wishes in her passing to give all glory to God.  She was a much-loved and highly respected member of GracePoint church, but will be remembered most for her warmth, humor, and extraordinary devotion to her family.

Surviving are her children Sheila Marie Nawalinski (Rick), Suzanne Levesque, John J. Connelly (Jeri), Elizabeth Ann Callahan (Tom), Mark Joseph Connelly (Kay), Brian L. Connelly (Cora); siblings Lorraine Branchaud and Raymond Levesque; grandchildren Ian, Kelsey, Molly, Adam, Cole, Austin, Conor, Thomas, Brendan, Luke, Naomi, Joshua, Heather, Kaitlin and Jessica; and great grandchildren Cruz, Jude, Ellie, Jace and one on the way, a boy due in September. 

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 1, 2021 at her church, 740 Leon Avenue, Palmyra.
