Lance A. Harling, 83, of Grantville passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025.
Born January 2, 1942 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Frederick W. and Mildred Agnes (Garman) Harling. Lance was also preceded in death by a granddaughter Jamie Gettle in 2019, sisters Durinda Hopple and Angel Bair and niece Cindy Barnes.
A self-employed carpenter, he had also worked for the railroad and was a member of Manada Gap Full Gospel Mission Church, Harrisburg.
Surviving are his wife of 43 years Mildred M. (Frost) Harling; daughter Tammy L. Reif of Palmyra; son Paul R. Springer, Jr. of Grantville; grandchildren Megan L. Groff, Andrew M. Zinkan, April L. Dragas and Michael A. Reif; great grandchildren Charles Gruber, Skylar Groff, Jasmin Groff, Kaitlyn Bartal, Hailey Gilkeson, Ava Zinkan, Aaron Zinkan, Elijah Dragas and Elliott Dragas; great great grandchildren Griffin Feliciano and London Charters; nieces Penelope Lownes, Tammy Parson and Laura Acker; and nephews Todd Hopple, Steven Hopple and Danny Hollingsworth.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Sunday, September 21, 2025 at his church, 8089 Mountain Road, Harrisburg.
