Kenneth Penn Phreaner, 92, of Palmyra died Monday, July 2, 2018.
Born February 16, 1926 in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Ira W. and Rebecca (Penn) Phreaner, and was also preceded in death by his sister Marie F. Long.
A 1947 graduate of Lebanon High School, he retired as a supervisor of the Dairy Lab from Hershey Foods with 40 years of service. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of Palm Lutheran Church, Palmyra, Brownstone Lodge #666 F. & A. M., Hershey, Shriners Zembo Temple, Harrisburg, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Harrisburg, American Legion #72, Palmyra and the Train Collectors of America.
Surviving are his wife of 65 years Erma L. (Matthews) Phreaner; daughter Ann M., wife of Wayne Zehr of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; son Kenneth W. Phreaner of Palmyra; and grandson Jordan D. Zehr of Houston, Texas.
A graveside service, with military honors, will be held 10:30 AM Friday, July 6, 2018 at Grand View Memorial Park, 500 North Weber Street, Annville.
