Karen E. (Moulthrop) Newmyer

Karen E. Newmyer, 81, of Londonderry Village, Palmyra passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023.

Born October 9, 1942 in Lehighton, she was the daughter of the late William and Annie (Bartholomew) Moulthrop.  After 45 years of marriage, Karen was the widow of David J. Newmyer since August 2012 and also preceded in death by her brother Ronald W. Moulthrop.

Karen retired as bank manager from the former Valley Trust Bank, Palmyra.  Since moving to Londonderry Village, she was an active member and volunteer in many groups at the Village.

Surviving are her son William D. Newmyer (Martie L.) of Columbia, SC; daughter Pamela A. Malloy (Michael J.) of Annville; and grandchildren Abby, Jillian, Tori, Josh, Kenny and Nick.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a visitation from 10:00 AM.  Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
