John K. "Jack" Youtz Obituary

John K. “Jack” Youtz, 75, of East Hanover Township, Dauphin County passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024.

Born November 4, 1948 in Lebanon, he was a son of the late Karl J. and Elizabeth C. (Foutz) Youtz.

He was a 1966 graduate of Hershey High School and '04 graduate of Trinity College with a BS in biology.

Jack worked at the Hershey Tech Center, as a food technician in new product development. He also owned Silk Skreening Inc. in Hummelstown and CSJ printing.

He was a believer and daily emulated Jesus. He was kind, tenderhearted and patient. Being a man of few words, his actions spoke the loudest.

Jack loved to play and coach softball, having coached in East Hanover Township and for the Hershey Barracudas. His players all respected his knowledge of the game and his ability to patiently teach them.

As a former member of the Fuzzy Few, he served the Hummelstown community faithfully, and loved calling bingo.

Surviving are his wife of 41 years Susan H. (Usztics) Youtz; daughter Chelsea S. Haken (Josiah) of New Jersey; son Cameron J. Youtz (Jessica) of Florida; grandchildren Eden R. D. Haken and Ahron J. Haken; brother William Youtz (Sherry); sister Marsha Sheibley; and ten nieces and nephews and their families.
