John F. "Jack" Lenker, Jr.

John F. “Jack” Lenker, Jr., 88, formerly of Grantville passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024 at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown.

Born April 25, 1935 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late John F., Sr. and Frances A. (Smith) Lenker.

Retired from The Patriot News, Jack was a U. S. Army Veteran.  He was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church, Grantville, Shellsville V. F. W. #9639 and Mt. Lebanon Lodge #226 F. & A.M.

Surviving are his wife of 64 years Nancylee K. (Kettle) Lenker; daughters Lyn L. Hollinger, Amy L. Randolph and Jill L. Prince (Donald); grandchildren Christopher Hollinger, Emily Rittle, Adam Hollinger, John Randolph, Austin Prince and Alex Prince; great grandchildren Tristan Rittle, Bryson Rittle and Jameson Hollinger.

A funeral service will be held 11:30 AM Monday, February 26, 2024 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a visitation from 10:30 AM.  Interment, with military honors, in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
