Jodi Lee Fike, 45, of Jonestown passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2019.
Born January 9, 1974 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of Robert G. Fike of Palmyra and the late Donna L. (Barnhart) Fike.
Jodi earned a Bachelor of Science in Bible with a concentration in Counseling in 2001 from Lancaster Bible College and her Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2012 from Shippensburg University becoming a Licensed Practical Counselor. From 2001 to 2016, she was employed by Dauphin County Crisis Intervention and since 2017 by WellSpan Philhaven. She was a member of American Counseling Association, Disaster Crisis Outreach and Referral Team for Dauphin and Lebanon Counties since 2003, and Dauphin County Critical Incident Stress Management since 2009. She was an avid skier and took many ski trips, and trips to Israel and “Apostle Paul’s Journey.” A daring person with a sense of adventure, she enjoyed hiking, nature and bears. Her greatest joy was supporting others in their pain. Jodi has touched many lives. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving in addition to her father are her brother Todd M. Fike of Tremont; niece Katelyn R. Fike; and best friend Brenda Startoni and family.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 5, 2019 in the DiMatteo Worship Center at Londonderry Village, 1200 Grubb Road, Palmyra preceded by a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Private interment will be in Mount Tunnel Cemetery, Elizabethtown.
