Joann M. Stohler, 85, formerly of Grantville passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Harmony of Hershey.
Born March 23, 1940 in Jonestown, she was a daughter of the late Aaron E., Sr. and Della M. (Royer) Neidig. She was the widow of Jay G. Stohler, since August 2025, after 65 years of marriage, and also preceded in death by her sister Barbara K. Spitler.
Previously a food server and Kmart cashier, Joann was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church and East Hanover Autumn Leaves. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, antiquing, and yard sales.
Surviving are her son Rick J. Stohler (Stacey) of Hummelstown; daughter Kim L. Keefer (Joel) of Havelock, North Carolina; brother A. Edward Neidig, Jr. (Veronica) of Annville;
grandchildren Rachel Fultz (Kenny), Jayce Stohler (Magan), Brandon Stohler, Zachery Hertzler (Kirstin), Joel Keefer, Jr. (Felicia), and Shannon Wall (John); and great grandchildren Finley and Charlotte Fultz, Ryder and Braelynn Hertzler, Evelyn, Cordelia, and Lorelai Wall, and Daniel Jay Stohler.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, March 26, 2026 at her church, 165 Firehouse Road, Grantville preceded by a visitation from 10:00 AM. Interment in the adjoining Grantville Cemetery.
