Joan M. (Brandt) Souder

Joan M. Souder, 79, formerly of Annville passed away Monday, May 24, 2021.

Born December 31, 1941 in Hershey, she was a daughter of the late Carl H. and Esther K. (Keeney) Brandt and also preceded in death by sisters Mary Lee and Gloria and grandson Jason Boisvert.

Retired from the Hershey Chocolate Company, she attended church regularly and loved yard sales and listening to music, especially Elvis.  She also enjoyed being outside and getting a tan, playing Bingo, and was an avid coupon clipper.

Surviving are her children Dawn Boisvert (Rich), Christina Bowser (Bob), Kim Hartman (Rick), and Chuck Hawthorne; sister Jean Stauffer; ten grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 4, 2021 at Manada Gap Full Gospel Mission, 8089 Mountain Road, Harrisburg with a visitation following.  Private interment in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
