Jeanne D. (Day) Sobona

Jeanne D. Sobona, 72, formerly of Hummelstown passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024 in Riddle Memorial Hospital, Media, PA.

Born June 18, 1952 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Carl L., Jr. and Amy E. (Hall) Day.

Retired from the Hershey Medical Center, Jeanne’s all-time  favorite job ever was being a Mom/Grandma.   She was a crafter and member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the Choir and playing in the Handbell Choir.  She was also a member of the Hershey Community Chorus.

Surviving are her husband of 46 years Thomas G. Sobona; daughter Jennifer M., wife of Larry Roush, Jr.; son Christopher T., husband of Rebecca Sobona; brother James R., husband of Marlyn Day; grandchildren Angelina, Tambra, April, Rebecca, James, Carly, and Adam; and great granddaughter Mallory.

A memorial service will be held 12:30 PM Friday, October 4, 2024 at her church, 210 West Main Street, Hummelstown preceded by a visitation from 11:30 AM.  Private interment in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, Irwin.
