Jean A. Groff, 86, formerly of Sunbury passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024 in Selinsgrove.
Born August 8, 1937 in Sunbury, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Marie (Klock) Paul and the widow of George R. Groff since December 2018.
Jean was a registered nurse volunteering with the Red Cross, a member and historian of Sunbury Soroptimist Club and a 60 year member of the former Trinity Lutheran Church, Sunbury.
Surviving are her daughters Kathy, wife of Richard Sharetzsky of Palmyra, Cindy, wife of Paul Dailey of Sunbury and Jil, wife of Erik Barnum of Palmdale, California; five grandchildren Zachary Dailey, Rachel Dailey, Drake Sharetzsky, Alexandria Barnum Weld, wife of Evan, and Christopher Barnum, husband of Ashley and their children Sarah and Thomas.
A memorial service will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 125 South Spruce Street, Annville preceded by a visitation from 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
