Jane S. (Stroman) Zeiters

Jane S. Zeiters, 96, of Orrstown and formerly of Hummelstown passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023.

Born December 17, 1926 in Hummelstown, she was a daughter of the late Clyde C. and Alice (Snyder) Stroman.  She was the widow of Raymond W. Zeiters since March 2016 after 69 years of marriage and also preceded in death by her twin sister June Zeiters, sisters Pearl Heilig and Gladys Swingly, brothers Clyde Stroman and Robert Stroman and various nieces and nephews.

Jane worked as a receptionist for Dr. Paul S. Stoner of Hummelstown for many years, then the business office of John Wanamaker, Harrisburg and retired from the Hershey Medical Center, as a billing clerk.  She was a member of Hummelstown United Church of Christ.

Surviving are her daughters Stephanie Z. and Fred Nordai of Chambersburg and Kathryn Z. and Roy Giese of Springfield, Virginia; grandchildren Chris and Brooke Nordai, Laura Nordai, Stephen and Callyn Giese and Joanna and Austin McGoff; and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Hummelstown United Church of Christ, 104 East Main Street, Hummelstown.  Private interment in Hummelstown Cemetery.
