James E. Allen

James E. Allen, 85, of East Hanover Township, Dauphin County died Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Homeland Center, Harrisburg.

Born July 10, 1940 in Middletown, he was a son of the late Ripley and Anna (Horskey) Allen.

Retired from the Pennsylvania State Police Academy, he was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife of 63 years Nancy L. (Maxwell) Allen; two brothers; two sisters; three nieces; and one nephew.

There will be no visitation with private interment in Mount Laurel Cemetery, Harrisburg.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to East Hanover Mennonite Church, 1089 South Meadow Lane, Palmyra, PA 17078.
