Jacqueline A. Fossati, 93, formerly of South Hanover Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 26, 2024 at the Ecumenical Retirement Community, Harrisburg.
Born March 29, 1931 in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., "Jackie" as she was known to most people, was the daughter of the late John and Alma (Hutchinson) White. Married to William G Davis for 20 years and was the widow of Richard L. Fossati since September 1981, she was also preceded in death by a son Craig Davis, granddaughter Hope Davis and brother John White.
Retired from the Hershey Medical Center, she was a member of Hershey Medical Center Retirees and the Reba Club, Hershey, volunteered at HMC cancer clinic, and served as a Sunday School teacher. In her earlier years, Jackie was a swimming enthusiast, working as a lifeguard and Red Cross swimming instructor.
She will be remembered by family as a lover of the beach, active gardener and bird-feeder, animal lover, avid reader, and excellent hostess of large family gatherings.
Surviving are her children Jill Wentworth, Mark (Kimberly) Davis and Kay Liese; ten grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in Hershey Cemetery.
