Jack R. Lingle, 91, of Palmyra passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023.
Born August 5, 1931 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Raymond and Mabel (Drumgold) Lingle and the widower of M. Beatrice (Everhart) Lingle since July 2009.
Retired from AMP, Inc., he was a US Navy Korean veteran, a member of Palmyra American Legion #72, VFW #6417, and life member of the NRA and Palmyra Sportmen’s Association. Jack was also a member of Citizen’s Fire Company #1, Brownstone Lodge #666 F.&A.M., Harrisburg Consistory and Tall Cedars of Lebanon #43.
Surviving are his children Jeffrey R. Lingle (Lorraine) of Shippensburg and Carol Lingle Fox (Greg) of Lancaster, Ohio; grandchildren Sean Lingle (Annisa) and Stephanie Scalise (Michael); great grandsons Sean Lingle (Carina), Joey Lingle (Morgan), and Sam Scalise; and great great grandson Jameson Lingle.
Military honors and a Masonic Service will be held 1:30 PM Monday, August 7, 2023 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
