Jack M. Hugendubler, 90, formerly of Hershey, passed away on his birthday, Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Hill Farm Estate, Annville.
Born April 14, 1931 in Hershey, he was a son of the late Ralph and Bertha (Peters) Hugendubler. Jack was the widower of Mary E. “Betty” (Green) Hugendubler since February 2016 and also preceded in death by son Mike Hugendubler, grandchildren Katie and Tyler Winfindale and brothers Ralph Hugendubler and Richard “Dick” Hugendubler.
After retiring as an engineer from the PA Department of Environmental Resources, Jack was a courier for Gannett Fleming. He was a member of the PA National Guard and a HersheyPark Arena ticket taker. Involved in his children’s activities, he was a basketball and baseball coach, coaching the 1971 Hershey Midget Baseball All Star Team to an undefeated season in both the Elizabethtown and Central Penn tournaments.
Surviving are his children Mary Ann, wife of Pete Biffel of King George, Virginia, Bill Hugendubler of Harrisburg, Kathy, wife of Dave Thomas of Carmel, Indiana, John, husband of Lynne Hugendubler of Pasadena, Maryland, Theresa, wife of Rick Winfindale of Harrisburg, Dave, husband of Linda Hugendubler of Hummelstown, Dan, husband of Holli Hugendubler of Hershey and Lisa, wife of Josh Russek of Palmyra; 27 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and three nephews.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, April 19, 2021 at Buse Funeral Home, 9066 Jonestown Road, Grantville preceded by a viewing from 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Shells Cemetery.
