Holly A. Poe of Palmyra went to be with the Lord on August 13, 2021 at the age of 67.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Most of all, she was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and led a life of loving others. Her passion was working in the children’s ministry at church as a teacher. She volunteered her time to Awanas, Vacation Bible School, Child Evangelism Fellowship, and was a Word of Life Associate.
Holly enjoyed playing Scrabble with her husband, sending family and friends encouraging messages daily, teaching children, spending time with her grandchildren, singing, praying, and studying the Word of God.
Holly dearly loved her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, John Poe of Palmyra; five children: Tara Cooley of Alva, Fl., Elaine Baker of Charotte, NC, John Poe II of Bellwood, Pa., Krissy Luxton of Rochelle, Ill., John Bordner of Palmyra, and eleven grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Ernestine Stick of Lebanon.
