Harold R. Price

Harold R. Price, 91, of Harrisburg passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024.

Born November 24, 1932 in Lewistown, he was a son of the late John and Margaret (Lash) Price and also preceded in death by his brother Donald Price.

A retired Minister of Music, Harold was a true servant, serving God, his country, fellow people, and especially his family.  He was a member of GracePoint Church, Palmyra and the Hershey Region AACA.  Harold was a U.S. Army veteran and enjoyed antique cars.  Along with his wife, he served many through the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief, including Katrina, the Twin Towers, and flooding in Florida.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Surviving are his wife of 70 years Joanne R. (Richard) Price; daughter Patrice, wife of M. Jon Whitson; and grandson Bradford Price Whitson.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 1, 2024 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra with interment in Maitland Cemetery, Lewistown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, 1117 Country Club Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
