Harold L. Waddell, Jr., 60, of Shiremanstown and formerly of Shermans Dale passed away Monday, June 22, 2020 at home.

Born September 6, 1959 in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late Harold L. and Georgia M. (Knapp) Waddell and widower of Suzanne L. (Pieffer) Waddell since 2009.

A retired material inspector from the U.S. Government, he was a proud U.S. Army veteran and Eagle Scout recipient. He was a member of the New Cumberland V.F.W., Newport American Legion, and National Eagle Scout Association and avid NASCAR fan.

Surviving are his sister Holly A. Waddell of Hummelstown and her family.

Due to Covid 19, social distancing, and family health concerns a private memorial service with interment and military honors at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville will be held at the family's suitability.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Homeland Hospice, 2300 Vartan Way, Suite 270, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
