Harold D. Behney

Harold D. Behney, 96, of Hummelstown passed away Friday, April 28, 2023. 

Born November 2, 1926 in Doyles Mills, he was a son of the late Adam L. Behney and Erma (Symmerman) Behney Zahm.  He was also preceded in death by siblings Richard Behney, Arthur Behney, Mildred Ingrahm, and Gladis Behney. 

Retired from Bethlehem Steel, Cap was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Grantville, Woodmen of the World and the ABC Bowling League, Lebanon. 

Surviving are his wife of almost 22 years, Joy K. (Shenk) Carroll Behney; sons Scott A. Behney of Jonestown and David F. Behney of Alliance, Ohio; stepchildren Deborah Whitenight, Timothy Eisenhauer, Sr., Deanna Skoloda, Kathleen Carroll, and William Carroll, Jr.; sister Dorothy Baker; granddaughters Bethany and Joy; great grandson Lincoln; eighteen step grandchildren; and four step great grandchildren. 

A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Lembergers Cemetery, Harrison School Road, Annville.
