Gloria Y. (Yeager) Reed

Gloria Y. Reed, 89, of North Londonderry Township, Lebanon County passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at home.

Born August 11, 1934 in Mahanoy City, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Grace E. (Ritzman) Yeager.  She was the widow of Dr. Charles A. Reed since November 5, 2017 after 64 years of marriage and also preceded in death by brothers Paul Hunter and Robert Yeager.

Gloria retired from the accounting department of The Hershey Company in 1991, was a graduate of Mahanoy Township High School and earned an associate degree from Penn State University.  She was an active member of Trinity United Church of Christ where she was former president of Consistory and Women’s Guild, served as an elder and deacon, taught Sunday School and assisted with Youth Fellowship.

Surviving are her daughter Cathy Cialone (Joseph) of Annville; sister Joan Roberts of Palmyra; grandchildren Daniel Reed (Ashley) of Annville, Nicole Krewson (Jesse) of Palmyra, and Christine Glant (Edward, III) of Elizabethtown; and eleven great grandchildren.
