Gerald L. Good, Jr.

Gerald L. Good, Jr., 78, of New Cumberland and formerly of Grantville, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024.

Born October 6, 1945 in Hershey, he was a son of the late Gerald L. Good, Sr. and Pauline (Via) Kaylor and also preceded in death by a sister Sandy Musser.

Retired from the Carpenter’s Local Union, he was a man of faith, ordained, and active in many churches and ministries over his lifetime.  He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his friend and former wife Brenda Good; former wife Judy Leininger; children Venus Good, Angelica Matthews (Tracey), Daniel Good (Amanda), Joshua Good, Jennifer Good, and Kate Good; siblings Rodney Good, Jessie Watkins, Robert Good, and May Miller; and grandchildren Christy, Sean, Michael, Courtney, John, Jacob, Norah, and Aliou.

Visitation will be held 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday, September 9, 2024 at Buse Funeral Home, 9066 Jonestown Road, Grantville.  A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday at Buse Funeral Home with interment in Manada United Christian Cemetery, Grantville.
