Floyd H. Moyer, 84, of Hershey, PA, passed away Wednesday March 5, 2025 at home.
Born February 26, 1941 in Grantville, PA, he was a son of the late Herman and Kathryn (Krum) Moyer.
Floyd was retired from Hershey Entertainment Company as a Maintenance Technician for the Hersheypark Camping Resort and previously worked for local contractors as a skilled mason and carpenter. A U.S. Army veteran serving one tour during the Vietnam War, he was an accomplished musician for many years playing piano and organ with bands throughout central PA. Floyd was kind, caring, and sharp, with a sense of humor, and loved spending time with family and friends chatting over a fresh cup of coffee.
Surviving are his sons Eric Moyer (Heather) of Grantville, PA and Brandon Moyer (Rachel) of Hummelstown, PA; daughters Lesa Brong (William) of Telford, PA and Jodi Segara (Hector) of Harrisburg, PA; sisters Thema Wolfe (Butch) of Annville, PA and Janet Megonnell of Grantville, PA; brothers Mervin Moyer (Dorothy) of State College, PA and Jay Moyer of New Cumberland, PA; ten grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
Memorial service, with military honors, will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 205 Grandview Avenue, Suite 304, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
