Fay I. Bordner

Fay I. Bordner, 90, of South Hanover Township passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024.

Born December 13,1933 in Hershey, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Florence (Minnich) Basehore.  She was also preceded in death by a son Todd E. Bordner and siblings Paul Basehore, Grace Orwan, Earl Basehore, Eva Hummel, Sara Jane Brubaker and Esther Geesaman.

Fay retired from Hershey Chocolate Company to become a mother of 4 and farm wife. Immersed in the farm/family life was her favorite place to be. She loved the artistic side of things and vented her creativity through projects with her children and grandkids. Her love for flowers showed up outside in her beautiful landscaping and inside for color everywhere. She would be seen on her lawn mower quite frequently with foot extensions for the controls due to being on the short side of tall all summer long!

Surviving are her husband of 71 years William P. Bordner; children Bradley S. Bordner of Annville, Craig A. Bordner of Middletown and Kathy L. Gojmerac of Hummelstown; siblings Kenneth Basehore, Florence Robertson and Jean Baum; 9 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
