Evelyn J. (Flory) Matlack

Evelyn J. Flory Matlack, 97, of Allentown, PA, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born in Campbelltown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin L. and Hilda (Wanish) Flory.

She was a former member of the United Brethren in Christ Church in Campbelltown and was a graduate of Hershey High School, Class of 1945. Evelyn was the owner and operator of the former Walnut Street Thrift Shop in Allentown and had worked at Hershey’s Chocolate Factory.

Surviving is her daughter, Patricia A. Blantz of Walnutport, PA.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 5:30 PM on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th & Hamilton Streets, Allentown. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 13, 2024, at the Campbelltown United Christian Cemetery under the care of the Buse Funeral Home, Palmyra, PA.
