Eva G. Mock, 102, of Hershey, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024 in Columbia Cottage, Palmyra.
Born November 17, 1921 in East Hanover Township, Lebanon County, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Lillie (Shuey) Burgner and after 67 years of marriage the widow of Paul S. Mock, since August 2013.
She was a former employee of Hershey Estates, Hershey Chocolate Company, Bowmans Department Store and retired from Derry Township School District cafeteria. A member of First United Methodist Church, Eva played piano for the adult Sunday School class. She enjoyed going out for breakfast and until her 80s exercised with the Golden Fitness group of One Broadway Dance Center.
Surviving are her children Joanne Pollock (Paul) of Hershey and Randal Mock (companion Faith Showers) of Campbelltown; grandchildren Timothy Pollock (Jaime), David Pollock (Sarah), Ryan Mock, Laura Cisney (John); nine great grandchildren; brothers-in-law John Mock (Patricia) and Donald Mock (Anita); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Private interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 520 East Birch Street, Palmyra, PA 17078.
