Ethel M. England, 92, of Londonderry Village, Palmyra passed away Monday, February 10, 2020.
Born September 3, 1927 in Meriden, Connecticut, she was a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Murry) Horn, the widow of Welch England and also preceded in death by three sisters.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Hershey and a registered nurse with the U. S. Army, serving in Japan during the Korean War. A former Girl Scout and Cub Scout volunteer, she taught swimming, canoeing and sailing and was more recently a volunteer at the Mohler Senior Center and Londonderry Village.
Surviving are her daughter Elizabeth England; son Marshall, husband of Susan England; sister June Aducci; grandchildren Jeffrey, husband of Kate England, Stephanie England, Dale Davis, Kelly Davis and Lucas, husband of Ashley Stone; and great granddaughters Eliana and MacKenzie England.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, February 14, 2020 at the DiMatteo Worship Center at Londonderry Village, 1200 Grubb Road, Palmyra preceded by a visitation from 10:30 AM. Per Ethel’s wishes, her body was donated to science at the Hershey Medical Center.
