Emory F. Martin

Emory F. Martin, 92, of Lebanon Valley Home, Annville passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018.

Born December 8, 1926 in Clarence Center, New York, he was a son of the late Emerson and Fay (Brown) Martin.  He was the widower of Jeanne L. (Stairs) Martin since January 23, 2015 and preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters and one grandson.

He retired as a self-employed mason, attended Palmyra Grace Church, and was a former member of the Brethren in Christ Church, Clarence Center, NY.  In the early 1980’s, he and Jeanne were missionaries in Africa for three years.

Surviving are his sons Charles, husband of Denise Martin of Palmyra and Dennis, husband of Cindy Martin of Phoenix, Arizona; brothers Lester and Milton; sisters Leona and Arlene; six grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 7:00 PM Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Palmyra Grace Church, 799 Airport Road, Palmyra.  Private interment in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
