Elvin Richard Wagner

Elvin Richard Wagner, 91, of North Londonderry Township passed away at Linden Village, Lebanon on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.

Born May 14, 1934 in Lebanon County to the late Paul E. Wagner and Mary C. (Bashore) Wagner Kuntz, he was also preceded in death by brothers George B. Wagner (infant) and Wilmer E. Wagner.

Elvin graduated from Hershey High School in 1953 and married Barabra M. Bucher on December 9, 1956.  They were married 68 years when she passed away on December 30, 2024.  A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he loved spending time with his family and travelling.  He was a Cub Scout Leader of the former Pack 77 and active member of Palmyra Church of the Brethren.

He worked in construction and had his own business from 1978 until retirement.  Elvin was a member and past president of the Lebanon County Builders Association and served on the Coleman Memorial Park Board.  As his hobby was also construction, he participated in Habitat for Humanity and various church disaster relief projects around the United States and Haiti.

Surviving are his children David Wagner, Nancy Strickler (Eugene), and Michael Wagner (Betsy), brother Nathan S. Wagner, five grandchildren, two step grandchildren, five great grandchildren, four step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, November 3, 2025 at Palmyra Church of the Brethren, 45 North Chestnut Street, Palmyra followed by a luncheon and visitation.  Private interment in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
