Elmer C. Jones

Elmer C. Jones, 93, formerly of Palmyra passed away Monday, December 2, 2024 in the Gino J. Merli Veterans Center, Scranton.

Born February 13, 1931 in Girardville, he was the son of the late Elmer and Elizabeth (Wilkinson) Jones.  Elmer was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years Patricia G. (Carrigan) Jones and daughter Kimberly Jones. 

Elmer was a retired estimator and engineer, a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a member of Palmyra American Legion and Spring Creek Lodge F. & A. M.

Surviving are sister Florence Blanchard of Massachusetts; granddaughters Kendell Jones and Carrigan Gray; and great granddaughters Lincoln Jones and Sloan Gray. 

Per Elmer’s wishes there will be no service.  Interment will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
