Elaine K. Burns, 83, of the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown and formerly of Hershey passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025.
Born July 29, 1941 in Hershey, she was a daughter of the late Hershel B. and Pauline W. (Weaver) Hartman and the widow of James H. Burns since September 5, 2010.
A 1959 graduate of Palmyra High School, Elaine retired as branch administrator from Belco Community Credit Union with 27 years of service and was a member of Palmyra Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are daughter Deborah E. Musser (Anthony) of Elizabethtown; stepdaughter Diana L. Sprinkle (Rick Goncher) of Austin, Texas; sister Linda H. Smith (David); brothers Robin Hartman (Lynn) and Brad Hartman (Geri); granddaughters Lindsay Salvemini (Anthony) and Emily Musser Shifflett (Collin); step grandchildren Christy Sprinkle and Jonathon Sprinkle (Kimberley); six great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, March 7, 2025 at Palmyra Church of the Brethren, 45 North Chestnut Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing from 9:00 AM. Interment in Spring Creek Cemetery, Hershey.
