Eileen M. (Fritz) Gagliardi

Eileen M. Gagliardi, 74, of East Hanover Township, Dauphin County passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026 in her home.

Born February 9, 1951 in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Paul R. and Georgianna (Lazos) Fritz and also preceded in death by a brother James F. Fritz.

Eileen was a 1969 graduate of Blue Mountain High School, a 1972 graduate of Lancaster General School of Nursing and a life member of LGH alumni.  She worked for 5 years at Good Samaritan Hospital in Pottsville and the Hershey Medical Center for over 41 years before retiring in 2019.  She attended Zion Lutheran Church in Hummelstown.

Surviving are her son Paul R. Gagliardi, PhD (Bridget McCann) of Wisconsin; daughter Lisa M. O'Brien (Christopher) of Harrisburg; siblings Donna S. Mitchell, Mary E. Piotrowski, and Paul M. Fritz; and grandchildren Zigana Gagliardi, Julia O'Brien, Lauren O'Brien, Roy McCann, and Otto McCann.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Buse Funeral Home, 9066 Jonestown Road, Grantville preceded by a visitation from 2:00 PM..
