Eileen K. Hess

Eileen K. Hess, 78, of Palmyra passed away Thursday, March 26, 2026 at the Kadima Rehabilitation and Nursing Home.

Born February 17, 1948 in Lebanon County, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Caroline (Herr) Hess and also preceded in death by a brother Larry Hess.

A June 6, 1966 graduate of Palmyra High School, she received her Bachelor’s degree from Millersville University and Master’s from Penn State University.  Eileen was a teacher at Annville Elementary School and attended New Covenant Church in Palmyra.

Surviving are her siblings Kathy F. Lingle, Jeffrey C. Hess, and Gregory S. Hess and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, April 13, 2026 at New Covenant Church, 695 East Ridge Road, Palmyra preceded by a visitation beginning at 10:30AM.  Private interment at Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
