Edward P. Hansen

Edward P. Hansen, 80, of Palmyra passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023.

Born April 3, 1943 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late George and Alice (Weiss) Hansen and also preceded in death by brothers George and Robert Hansen.

A retired glazer and shop foreman from Harrisburg Glass, he enjoyed working on stained glass and was formerly involved with the Mummers.  Ed enjoyed railroads, model trains, railfanning, traveling, and volunteering at the M&H Railroad.  A quiet man with a passion for Philadelphia sports, Ed also loved to stay home with his wife and watch a good Phillies or Flyers game.

Surviving are his wife Dorothy Jones (Ebersole) Burridge; children Lisa A. Hansen, Edward P. Hansen, Jr., Richard E. Burridge, and Andrew W. Burridge; grandchildren Ashley, Fallon, Sam, Ellen, Jordan, Thomas, Matthew, Brad, Blake, Sonya, Kaitlin, Stephanie, and Kristin; numerous great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren.

Services will be private.
