Edward Anthony "Tony" Tafoya

Edward Anthony “Tony” Tafoya, 84, of Palmyra passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025, at his home.

Born September 10, 1941, in Washington, DC, he was the only son of the late Rudolph Carlos and Estelle Mae (Ahern) Tafoya.  He was preceded in death by his son Michael Anthony Tafoya and brothers Ralph Joseph Sutton and Earl Richard Sutton.

Retired as an electronics engineer from ITT, Annapolis Junction, Maryland, Tony was a U. S. Navy veteran and enjoyed bowling, tennis, Star Trek, and gardening. 

Surviving is his wife of 42 years, Barbara A. (Mosko) Tafoya, son Kevin Tafoya (wife, Jennifer); daughters Rebecca Tafoya and Katherine Liebert (husband, Michael); grandchildren Lauren Roberts (husband, DJ), Megan Reyes (husband, Santiago), Kevin “Tony” Tafoya, Lillian Liebert, Claire Liebert, Michael “Mikey” Liebert, Jr, and Matthew Liebert; and great-grandchildren Finn Roberts and Geraldine Reyes. 

Private interment, with military honors, will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
