He contributed to the community in multiple capacities. He was very active at the Hanoverdale Church, where he served on the church board, taught youth Sunday school, and sang in the special music quartet. He will fondly be remembered as the Lower Dauphin High School’s band parent-supporter where he trailered the band’s equipment for their events. Dwight actively participated in historic, middle-age reenactments with the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). He was a squire to Ivan, Wulfgar, and part of Household Silverkeep.
