Dorothy M. (Griffin) Purcell

Dorothy M. Purcell, 92, of Lebanon Valley Home, Annville and formerly of Hummelstown passed away peacefully Friday, June 28, 2024.

Born November 22, 1931 in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Charles J. and Helen M. (Youcavage) Griffin.  Dot was the widow of Raymond S. Purcell since September 12, 2010 and also preceded in death by a daughter Dorothy M. Purcell and siblings Charles, Jackie and Thomas.

Retired from The Hershey Company, she was a member of Mountain View Bible Church, Hummelstown and attended Faith Baptist Church, Lebanon.

Surviving are her daughter Evelyn M. Miller (Warren); two grandchildren, four great grandchildren;  three great great grandchildren; brother Billy Griffin; and good friend Ruth Ulrich and her family.

Burial will be 9:00 AM Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville followed by a 10:30 AM memorial service at Faith Baptist Church, 220 South 22nd Street, Lebanon.
