Dorothy (Kloss) Williams

Dorothy “Dottie” Williams, 90, formerly of Grantville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in Homeland Center, Harrisburg.

Born September 24, 1935, in Lackawanna County, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Pauline (Martinkovich) Kloss.  

Dottie was retired as a nursing assistant for the former Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg, where she worked for many years.

Dottie enjoyed gardening, cooking, listening to music, watching NFL football, and playing poker.  She will be remembered for her devotion to family and friends, and her quick wit and sense of humor.

Surviving are her children, Thomas Prall of Lake Ariel, PA, Susan Prall Potter of Portland, OR, Edward Prall of Ellsworth, ME, and Ruth Prall of Harrisburg; four grandchildren, Jesse Prall of Steelton, Sarah Prall of Liverpool, England, Zachary Potter of New York, NY, and Emily Potter of Portland, OR; and one great-grandson, Ian Prall of Georgetown, DE.  She is also survived by her sisters, Katherine Noreika of Falls, PA, Florence Ryan of Scranton, and Rose Starry of Levittown, PA.  She was predeceased by her son, Timothy Prall, and four other siblings.

A service will be held at the convenience of the family.
