Doris E. Kelly Hooven

Doris E. Kelly Hooven, 89, formerly of Hummelstown passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020 in the Middletown Home.

Born June 5, 1930 in Lebanon, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Kelley and Esther (Roth) Kelly Tuptanson.  She was the widow, after 64 years of marriage, of Arthur D. Hooven, Jr. on December 17, 2012 and also preceded in death by sisters Marilyn Dibeler and E. Patricia Hummel.

She was self employed in sales and a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hummelstown.

Surviving are her sons Thomas Hooven of New Cumberland and Scott Hooven of Arndetsville; daughters Marilyn Snyder of Harrisburg and Karen Banning of Berryton, Kansas; eight grandchildren; three step grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and one step great grandson.

A funeral service will be held  2:00 PM Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Buse Funeral Home, 2 East Main Street, Hummelstown preceded by a viewing from 1:00 PM.  Interment will follow in Hummelstown Cemetery.
