Donald L. Lauver

Donald L. Lauver, 82, of Mechanicsburg and formerly of Progress passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020.

Born October 7, 1937 in Richfield, he was a son of the late Herbert C. and Pauline Nace Lauver and also preceded in death by a brother Herbert C. Lauver, Jr.

A retired tax accountant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, he attended Susquehanna Township High School, graduated Perkiomen Preparatory School and Elon College.  He was a member of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, Perseverance Lodge, Tall Cedars of Lebanon and the former Progress Immanuel Presbyterian Church and Susquehanna Lions Club.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years Joanne Pickell Lauver; children Donald L. Lauver, Jr., (Dr. Karen Morris) of Bedford, Douglas W. Lauver (Michelle Lauver) of Mechanicsburg and Jennifer L. Mark (Eric Mark) of Mechanicsburg; brother Robert E. Lauver (Barbara) of Mt. Gretna; sister in law Mary J. Lauver of Middleburg; and grandchildren Rachel Lauver, Caitlyn Lauver, Ryan Lauver, Madison Mark and Lauren Mark.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 10, 2020 at Buse Funeral Home, 9066 Jonestown Road, Grantville preceded by a visitation from 1:00 PM.  Interment in Shoops Cemetery, Harrisburg.
